Places for staff
An inspiring workplace environment that will enhance staff attraction & enable agile ways of working
Office Floorplates

The office floorplates will provide the flexibility to create an agile working environment and can accomodate a range of activity spaces including collaboration zones, community areas and an intertenancy stair to promote connectivity. The floorplate size provides excellent orientation and daylight penetration, with all staff having unprecedented views over Corio Bay to the You Yangs and beyond.

End of Trip Facilities

High quality end of trip facilities will be provided to support people using non-motorised ways to travel to their workplace. Secure bicycle parking and lockers with shower and change facilities are provided to encourage use by all users including those that require disability access.

Roof Terrace

The roof terrace will provide space for respite and contemplation aswell as an alternative working environment. The terrace can be used for outdoor engagement such as yoga classes or events and gatherings.

A vibrant and fresh addition

A strong connection with nature will be evident throughout the building. It is proposed that hanging gardens will line the podium terrace and living walls will bring nature into the lobby café. A landscaped roof terrace offers a flexible space for functions and activities, enabling staff to take time out and enjoy amazing views amongst greenery. We have also looked to open up the the lobby to connect to the neighbouring park which will extend daily open space options for patrons.

16 Gheringhap Street will undoubtedly be a vibrant and fresh addition to the Gheringhap Street locale and act as an attractive offering for current and future staff.

A unifying space

The proposed design intent for the lobby is with domesticity in mind so as to unify all users and to create a feeling of being at home in someone’s lounge room. An activated and publically accessible lobby will be a relaxed environment where casual discussions occur over a coffee or around a notebook.
